INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME FOR CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY– 2019

*Students are not allowed to join internship in the middle period of program


TIME DURATION:

6 Weeks


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

  • Pursuing or completed post-graduation in psychology/social work
  • Selection of candidate is interview based

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (subject to change according to postings)


FEE STRUCTURE :

  • Rs. 6000 per candidate for duration of 6 weeks *Note: 100 % Advance payment - non-refundable
  • The fees will be accepted in form of cash/ cheque prior to start internship in the favour of “Deva Institute of Healthcare & Research Private Ltd.”

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

  1. Application from self/ letter from college mentioning about your willingness to start the program
  2. Duly signed curriculum vitae with passport size photo pasted on it
  3. Self attested copy of personal ID (driving license/PAN card/Aadhar Card/Voting card/Passport)
  4. Self attested copy of College I card or document showing university enrolment number
  5. Self attested copies of mark sheets of X, XII, and further qualifying exams
  6. Guardian attested copy of guardian ID (driving license/PAN card/Aadhar Card/Voting card/Passport) with mobile/phone number.
  7. Cheque as mentioned above in name of fees
  8. DIHR Registration form of program duly filled by candidate and signed by parent/guardian
  9. Declaration consent of joining mentioning about confidentiality of the patients, institute and related issues.

TAKE HOME NOTES:

  1. No stay facilities provided by institute
  2. Institute will not be held responsible for any accidents/hazards during program.

  3. ATTENDANCE

    • It should be at least 90% in duration of 6 weeks
    • Only 2 days leave will be permitted in a month time, other than Sundays and national holidays and in the case of leave an application attested by guardian with aadhar no. will be forwarded a day before leave.
    • In the case of half day leave or leaving prior to time scheduled will be allowed only after giving written consent with signature.

    • Psychiatric case history taking, and Mental Status Examinations
    • Introduction about common/major psychiatric disorders
    • Rating scales, Intelligence, Personality & neuropsychological assessment
    • Psycho-education and pre-discharge counselling
    • Psychotherapeutic Intervention: CBT, BT, RPT, MET, Counselling, and Mind-body techniques
    • Opportunity to observe ECT, EEG, tDCS, rTMS, BFB, BFT, Cognition lab, Sleep study*
    • COMAP – Community Outreach Mental health Awareness Program**

    * No trainings will be provided.

    ** Only when camps are organised

    4. Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry – dCAP
    5. ANVITA – An all women psychological well- being and psychosocial rehabilitation centre

    6. VISIT TO ANVITA

      • There will be visits to ANVITA, an all women rehabilitation centre, India’s first of its kind rehabilitation home dedicated for women mental health, Chunar/Varanasi
      • Conveyance and lunch will be provided at no cost for visit to Chunar.
      • Candidates need to submit visit report of these two visits separately.
