What is Deep TMS therapy?
Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Deep TMS) is a non-invasive, advanced brain stimulation treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain associated with mood and emotional regulation.
Deep TMS does not require anesthesia, surgery, or hospitalization. Patients remain awake during the procedure and can usually return to their daily activities immediately after treatment.
It is commonly recommended for individuals with treatment-resistant depression and may also be beneficial for certain other psychiatric conditions, depending on clinical evaluation. Your psychiatrist will determine whether Deep TMS is an appropriate treatment option for you.
